How is the best way to see the Gingerbread houses at the different resorts

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lonnie!

Oh, Christmas at the Walt Disney World Resort. It's my favorite time of the year! I'm so happy to hear that you will get to visit when all of these magical decorations make the parks and resorts even more beautiful and enchanting!

My family and I love taking a monorail tour of the three resorts that feature the best huge gingerbread houses. During one of our days at Magic Kingdom, we take a mid-day break and hop on the monorail to visit Disney's Contemporary, Polynesian Village and Grand Floridian. We hop off at each resort and take time to revel in the gorgeous decorations, do a bit of browsing (and buying!) in the gift shops, and yes, check out the amazing gingerbread creations. Then we hop back on the monorail for the next resort stop, until finally making our way back to Magic Kingdom to continue our day in the park.

We found out last year that these three resorts use their own different gingerbread recipes. So, to make our adventure even more fun, we purchased a gingerbread cookie at each of the three and later did a taste test to see which we liked best. So, that's a fun idea for your family to try too!

    Have so much fun, Lonnie!
