What is the best way of getting to my breakfast reservation at chef mickey and then going to Epcot? We are staying at the Disney Caribbean resort and plan on using the shuttles. Is there a fee for the monorail?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Theresa! Chef Mickey's located at DIsney's Contemporary Resort is one of my family's favorite Character DIning Experiences! Rest assured, you will be able to utilize DIsney's complimentary bus transportation on the morning of your Advanced DIning Reservation. I wish I knew exactly what time your Advanced Dining Reservation was in order to better assist you. Regular bus transportation begins running approximately one hour prior to park opening. Depending on the park hours for Magic Kingdom Park and your Advanced Dining Reservation time, you may be able to board a Disney bus bound for Magic Kingdom Park and then transfer to the monorail bound for DIsney's Contemporary Resort. Disney's Contemporary Resort is the first stop on the monorail line after leaving Magic Kingdom Park. If you have an early Advanced DIning Reservation and normal bus transportation has not started for the day, there are buses available for guests with early Character DIning Experiences. I would check with the front desk of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort the evening prior to your breakfast at Chef Mickey's to determine what time you can expect bus transportation to start running the morning of your Advanced Dining Reservation and also what time you should arrive at the bus stop.

From DIsney's Contemporary Resort, you will want to utilize the monorail when traveling to Epcot. There is no fee for using the monorail. You will need to transfer from the resort monorail line to the monorail bound for Epcot at the Transportation and Ticket Center. I hope this information helps!  Please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Theresa!
