HI! My best friend is a vegetarian. Actually a better term is carbivoire. She gets picky about veggies, but she will it pounds of any kind of pasta. And she is a big fan of cheese! To save money, we plan on eating at quick services. Where should we eat?

Hi Samantha! Your friend sounds like my son -- he survives on carbs and cheese! Walt Disney World is very accommodating of vegetarians and others with special dietary needs so your friend won't have any trouble finding great food to eat at the Quick Service Restaurants.

At Downtown Disney, the Wolfgang Puck Express serves pizzas, pastas, and four-cheese macaroni, and there's even a vegetable sandwich if she's feeling adventurous.

Pizzafari at Animal Kingdom also offers pizzas, salads and breadsticks. The Yak and Yeti counter service has Lo Mein if she's in the mood for noodles; just ask them to hold the meat.

At Hollywood Studios, vegetarians can get veggie sandwiches at the Studio Catering Company and the Backlot Express, veggie burgers at Rosie's All American Cafe, and veggie sushi at Starring Rolls. For vegetarians who don't like veggies, Catalina Eddie's and Toy Story Pizza Planet have cheese pizza, and Fairfax Fare has macaroni and cheese on the kids menu.

The new Be Our Guest restaurant in the Magic Kingdom has lots of offerings for vegetarians including vegetable quiche, soups, and salads. Your friend can order a Croque Monsieur sandwich without the ham for a bread and cheese fix. Pinocchio Village Haus serves a cheese flatbread, and Pecos Bills serves a veggie burger or a taco salad without meat.

The new Boulangerie Patisserie in Epcot has lots of carb and cheese options, including a cheese plate, a baguette with cheese, quiche and sandwiches. La Cantina de San Angel serves cheese empanadas, and Sunshine Seasons has something for everyone, including Asian noodle bowls and veggie flatbread sandwiches.

Hope these ideas help! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
