what is the best form of transportation at end of the Magic kingdom after hours to Holiday Inn disney springs

Welcome to planDisney, Connie! It looks like your magical vacation starts today; by the time you read this, you might be munching on a Mickey Bar, enjoying the sights of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, or maybe shopping at Disney Springs! Whatever you're doing, welcome home!

Connie, I recently had the opportunity to attend the Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park, and let me tell you - it was phenomenal! From the incredibly short wait times, complimentary snacks and bottled beverages, and the chance to see double the fireworks with a showing of both Happily Ever After and Disney Enchantment, it's a night I won't soon forget! I know you're going to have just as much fun when you go!

While the Holiday Inn Orlando - Disney Springs Resort Area is a Disney Good Neighbor hotel that offers transportation to the theme parks, this transportation is not available for After Hours events. Hakuna matata - no worries - I've got some suggestions to make sure you are able to get back and rest after your late night in the park!

Following the After Hours event, Guests will have access to either the Monorail or Ferryboat to return to the Transportation and Ticket Center, where the rideshare pickup location is for both Uber and Lyft. This is probably going to be the easiest and fastest way back to your hotel; especially after a long night! When I attended last month, we shopped and took some photos on Main Street, U.S.A. before boarding the ferryboat back to the parking lot where we had parked.

Another option, depending on what time you leave Magic Kingdom, would be to walk over to Disney's Contemporary Resort and catch a bus to Disney Springs. These buses typically run until 12:30 AM. From there, you could walk the short walk back to your Disney Springs area hotel (the distance is about 0.6 miles).

Connie, I hope this is helpful to you and I hope you have an amazing time chasing magic at After Hours! Have an extra Mickey bar for me and enjoy exclusive access to the standby line for TRON Lightcycle/Run. If you're anything like me, you'll enter the grid more than once during this event!

    Moonlight, magic, and memories,
