What is the best floor to book? We are looking to get a balcony room. How about floor location?

Ahoy there, Debra!  Welcome to planDisney!  We love to help Guests like yourself plan their Disney vacations.

There are three types of staterooms with private verandahs on the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, and Disney Fantasy:  Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah, Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah, and Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Navigator's Verandah.  The Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny have the Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah and the Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah.  Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms with Verandahs are my favorite.  I love to have coffee in the morning on my verandah and enjoy the fresh air while reading a book.  I prefer midship and higher floors, but it is truly a personal decision.  When you are making your selection, you will need to know how many people will be staying in your stateroom because some have a maximum occupancy of 5 while others have a maximum occupancy of 3 or 4.  This could determine where your stateroom is located as well.

While you are exploring staterooms, don’t forget that the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 itineraries are now available to book. The Ports of Call include Europe, the South Pacific, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean.  There are so many great options it is hard to narrow them down!

I know you will make a great decision on which stateroom to rest after a day's worth of onboard activities or a Port Adventure, Debra.  If you have any other questions, come back to visit us at planDisney.

    Adventure is out there!
