what is the best way to find out everything there is to do at all the disney parks, what options for eating, options for hotels and types, all the options at the parks???

Hi Susanne, Researching all the options at Walt Disney World can be a full time job. The good news is that there is lots of information out there. I got started learning about WDW by getting a few books. Any Disney planner should purchase at least two of: the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World, Passporter Guide to Walt Disney World, the Complete Walt Disney World, and the Birnbaum Official Guide to WDW. They all give a fairly comprehensive overview of the situation. I suggest getting more than one because they have differing views of what's important. All these books can be found on Amazon.com or probably at your local library. You should supplement your print reading with some websites. The main Disney site, disneyworld.com, includes almost everything, but there are no opinions or reviews to guide you, except here on the Moms Panel. The most comprehensive independent site is allears.net. The site touringplans.com gives tips for avoiding crowds. DisneyFoodBlog.com has everything you need to know about dining at the parks and resorts. And mousesavers.com covers the world of Disney discounts. And we're happy to give you specific information on any Disney travel topic, just ask. Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if we can provide additional assistance.
