What is the best way to enjoy fireworks without being so loud? someone suggested a boat ride during the fireworks but, i don't know where to take the boat and going to where :) we are staying at the All Star Movies resort.

    Hiya, Adina! Welcome to planDisney!

Fireworks at Walt Disney World are pure magic and my personal favorite part of a Disney day! But I totally get wanting to dial down the volume while still soaking in all the pixie dust; especially if you have littles who are sensitive to loud noises like mine are!

Well, no need to worry! I’ve got some practically perfect ideas to help you enjoy the nighttime spectaculars without the extra booms!

This past November, I had the incredible opportunity to experience a fireworks cruise for the first time. We were celebrating some birthdays and career milestones, so we decided to make the evening extra magical with a private boat ride to watch the fireworks on the water. It was truly an unforgettable celebration! The music from the show played right on our boat, creating a fully immersive experience, and being out on the water gave us a quieter, more serene view of the fireworks. They were far enough away that the sound wasn’t as intense as it is inside the parks, making it perfect for our group to relax and enjoy the show.

These private firework cruises are hands-down one of the most supercalifragilistic ways to enjoy the shows! For Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom Park, you can board a private boat at resorts like Disney’s Polynesian Resort, Disney’s Contemporary, or Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. If EPCOT’s Luminous is on your wish list, hop aboard from Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts or Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. The private watercrafts give you a front-row view from the water, and the sound is softened by the peaceful surroundings. It’s like your own floating VIP section! These cruises are very popular, though, so be sure to book ahead.

Not feeling the cruise life? No worries! There are still some stellar viewing spots that give you all the sparkle without the bang. The beach at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is one of my absolute favorite places to watch Happily Ever After. You’ll get a postcard-perfect view of Cinderella Castle and the fireworks, complete with the soundtrack piped in—just without the big booms overhead. Bonus points: It’s a cozy, relaxed spot to enjoy with your ohana! And talking about 'Ohana, for a more muted experience, plan a dinner around the time the fireworks are scheduled and enjoy them from the comfort of the restaurant. Magical soundtrack included! Another option is booking a reservation at California Grill. Same magical fireworks experience, but from an elevated perspective.

I hope this helps you find the perfect way to enjoy the fireworks, Adina! If you have more questions or need some extra tips, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us!

Wishing you your happily ever after,
