Hey there, Wendy!
Welcome to planDisney. We're delighted you've dropped by with a fantastic
Walt Disney World Resort planning question! I'm thrilled to hear you'll be visiting my favorite theme park
tomorrow. There's no time to waste, so let's discuss the best way to reach EPCOT when visiting from off-site!
Wendy, I understand you'll be driving a personal vehicle to
EPCOT from an off-site hotel. I recommend plugging "EPCOT" into your mobile phone's navigation app tomorrow morning to chart the best course from your hotel. It'll likely involve taking World Drive northbound to EPCOT Center Drive eastbound, the most popular route for Guests visiting from outside the Walt Disney World Resort. You'll first approach the EPCOT parking tollbooth, where Guests usually need to pay for standard
theme park parking (currently $30, subject to change) to enter the parking lot. I encourage you to notify the tollbooth attendant that you're not parking the vehicle but rather just dropping off Guests at the entrance. From there, you'll also want to notify the parking lot direction-giving attendants that the vehicle is just dropping off Guests, and you should be permitted to enter the drop-off area in the EPCOT parking lot. You won't need to visit the Transportation and Ticket Center, as that area is only utilized as a parking lot for Guests visiting Magic Kingdom Park, not EPCOT.
You're visiting during the most beautiful time of the year, Wendy. The
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom and ready to welcome you into a world of colorful cultivation! Don't miss all of the adorable
Orange Bird-themed offerings that have recently debuted, and be sure to pick up a Festival Passport at the theme park's main entrance to map out your "must eats" throughout your day.
Wendy, I hope you've found this information helpful and I wish you a day filled with
savory snacks and scenic views at EPCOT! If you have any additional questions during your perfect Disney day, or when you're ready to start planning your next magical vacation, feel free to revisit us right here at
planDisney. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
