What is the best dining experience at WDW for vegetarians besides Victoria and Alberts?

    Hiya, Eileen!

Walt Disney World is a celebration of culinary diversity, and with the variety of dining experiences, you will find delicious vegetarian cuisine at every turn.

For signature dining, the California Grill does amazing vegetarian meals. Options vary by season, but may include a brown butter parsnip soup, tofu steak, or a vegan pho. We've enjoyed heirloom tomato risotto and a vegetarian flatbread. You just have to ask for the vegetarian menu.

Vegetarian character dining experiences are pretty easy to find, since many offer buffet meals that allow you to pick and choose, but hands down, the winner goes to Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Because the food here is prepared with an African flair for flavor, you'll find dishes who have their base in grains or beans. The culinary team there can walk you through the buffet to point out vegetarian safe options, but the menu has offered pea and potato samosas, quinoa salad, tofu, couscous, and so much more.

I only have to say "bread service" and my girls are sold on Sanaa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village. While the Indian style bread service (8 of the 9 available accompaniments are vegan) is a meal in and of itself, but you can also enjoy Lentil Dhal, Aloo Masala, and other seasonal dishes.

Every location will have options. Just ask a cast member when you arrive, and a member of the culinary team is happy to help!

    Bon appetit!
