    What is the best building to request at the Grand Floridian? We have a garden view room but would like a balcony and a great view of the whole Disney experince-not the parking lots! We have our 8 year od daughter and it will be the 2nd week of December.

    We just returned from a stay at the Grand Floridian.  We had a garden view room in Sago Cay and it was a very nice view.  It looked out into the courtyard between the back of the main building and the Seven Seas Lagoon.  From our balcony, looking straight ahead we could see the courtyard pool, to the right we saw the main building, with the quick service eatery and arcade within steps, and looking to the left we could see the dock and the lagoon.  If you really leaned you could see across the lagoon to Cinderella's Castle.

    We loved this spot for its convenience, and would definitely recommend this building to others.
