What is the best way to book a large amount of people for the lightning lanes. Is it easier to book like 4 at a time? Or would 12 people be able to get booked together?

Hiya, Sarah, and thanks for stopping by planDisney with this great question! Your Walt Disney World Resort visit is just a sleep away, and it sounds like you have your "mice" in a row when it comes to using Disney Genie+ service. You're among fellow planners here, so let's talk about the Lightning Lane entry booking process.

I'm happy to let you know you can select up to 12 guests from your Family & Friends list when booking Lightning Lane and purchasing Individual Lightning Lane entries. Be sure you're all sharing plans in your My Disney Experience accounts, and you should be able to select them during the booking process. I suggest everyone purchase Disney Genie+ service just after midnight, so all you'll need to do is choose the first attraction at 7:00 AM.

I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who confirmed that you can also select up to 12 guests if you try to join a virtual queue. I've seen differing information about this, so please be aware that policies could change. My tip for joining virtual queues is to have more than one member of your party try to join at the same time. The system will only allow the quickest hands to join, so my pals and I always try for bragging rights!

My favorite Lightning Lane entry is for Slinky Dog Dash. This attraction is fun, fast, and funny! I chuckle every single time when Slinky deadpans, "Hang on." Since this ride often runs out of return times, my tip is to book it first through Disney Genie+ service on your day at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Sarah, I'm sending pixie dust and lightning bolts so you'll have an electrifying time! One of my favorite Disney vacations was with a large group, so I know you'll have a magical visit. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
