Hi Jillian and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so happy that you sent us this question because I too am a dessert junkie and I’m excited to share my favorite places with you!
Magic Kingdom Park is a great place for treats. The Main Street Confectionary will have all of your delicious and old-fashioned candies like house made fudge. Take a walk to Fantasyland to enjoy freshly baked cookies and rice krispies treats at Big Top Souvenirs.
My favorite place, hands down, is
Sleepy Hollow. Can I just say that I dream about their Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich with hazelnut spread?! They also make funnel cakes with your choice of toppings. I’m a purist, so I have mine with powdered sugar on top. You will find it tucked next to Cinderella Castle near the entrance to Liberty Square.
Disney Springs is where you can find my absolute favorite place for sweet treats! Amorette’s Patisserie appeals to your more grown up side with delectable chocolate éclair, macarons and their very own signature Mickey character cakes. You can also order a Minnie, Goofy or Donald cake! I like to pair my sweet treat with a glass of prosecco, because mom deserves a treat too!
Did you know that you can learn how to
decorate Amorette’s Classic Mickey cake during a special class? You are served refreshments and the best part is, you get to take your classwork home with you! Taste testing is the only kind of homework I like to do on vacation!
Jillian, I hope I’ve given you a few ideas for some sweet treats. Come back to visit us anytime with more questions. Helping you with the details of your magical vacation is our pleasure!
