Hi Shantai!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so happy to hEAR you'll be visiting both Disney's Animal Kingdom Park and Magic Kingdom Park during your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!
At Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, both of your kiddos will enjoy Kilimanjaro Safaris, Na'vi River Journey and Festival of the Lion King. For thrill attractions with minimum height requirements, don't miss DINOSAUR (40 inches or taller), Avatar Flight of Passage (44 inches or taller) and Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain (44 inches or taller). If you're interested in Character dining, Tusker House Restaurant is a great option for the entire family; whereas, Satu'li Canteen is a fantastic Quick-Service restaurant in Pandora - The World of Avatar.
When visiting Magic Kingdom Park, don't miss Peter Pan's Flight, "it's a small world," The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. For thrill attractions, my list of "must do" attractions includes: Space Mountain (44 inches or taller), Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (38 inches or taller), Splash Mountain (40 inches or taller), and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (40 inches or taller). You may find your 4-year-old meets the minimum height requirement for many of the thrill attractions that your 11-year-old will want to experience. If not, be sure to take advantage of
Rider Switch. For dining options at Magic Kingdom Park, my family loves Be Our Guest Restaurant, The Crystal Palace, Casey's Corner and Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe.
I hope this is helpful, Shantai. Let us know if you have any new questions or would like additional dining recommendations as you continue to plan a magical trip!
