Hello, Sarah! Thanks for sending in your question to planDisney. I love that you're offering me a penny for my thoughts!
Pressed pennies are such fun souvenirs to collect at Walt Disney World, and I still have the padded collector's case from our trips over a decade ago. My kids loved turning that crank and seeing what design would pop out! In the past, Disney pressed pennies were 51 cents and were purchased with two quarters and a penny, and we carried around a plastic baggie full of change. While these machines still exist, they are becoming rare. The newer ones are slightly more expensive (I believe most are $1, but prices are subject to change), and you can pay with cash, credit card, or Apple Pay. Some machines will offer a discount if you buy a set of eight.
Coin Press Machine locations can be located easily with the
My Disney Experience Mobile app; Select the magnifying glass on the screen's bottom, and in the search bar, type in "Coin Press Machines."
Walt Disney World's
Candlelight Processional is my absolute favorite seasonal event, which occurs during the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. A celebrity narrator presents it three times each night at the America Gardens Theater in The American Adventure pavilion. Last year, bookings for Candlelight Processional Dining Packages opened on October 26, so I recommend staying tuned to the Disney Parks Blog, as this is
the place for the latest information. The dining packages book up quickly, and you'll want to be ready as soon as the information is released. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience in 2021, which included dinner at the
Biergarten Restaurant- even my picky eaters loved it!
So that's my two cents, Sarah! Please feel free to stop by and see us again!
