Besides the MK, is there any other place I can get my children a pair of disney ears? I was thinking downtown disney. If so, can they be embroidered?

    Bridget,

Yes, you can purchase Mickey ears at the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney, and you can take them over to the Disney Days of Christmas store to get them embroidered (toward the back of the store).  There is a nominal fee at this store to embroider names on the hat.

In case you (or others) are interested, you can also get names embroidered on your Mickey ears at The Chapeau store on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom (for free - only at this store), and at Adrian & Edith's Head to Toe store on Hollywood Boulevard in Disney's Hollywood Studios (embroidery costs a nominal fee).  I am not aware of anywhere else to get Mickey ear hats embroidered at WDW.

You may also be interested to know that The Chapeau store also has a fun and new (only a few months old) "Create Your Own" Mickey ears section of the store.  You can select from numerous colors and themes for the hat and ears, and also add letters and patches to further distinguish your custom Mickey ears.

    So many options.  Who knew?!

Hope this info helps you find the best store, embroidery and design for your kids.  Heck, get some for yourself while you're there!  ºoº
