Besides bathing suit and towels for pool what else should I pack in carry on bag for when we get to our resort? Flight gets into MCO at 12:15pm I know it takes around an hour or so to get to resort with ME. 2A and 2S 10 and 5.

    Allison,

I personally wouldn't pack a beach towel in my carry on bag, since the moderate and deluxe resorts have towels at the pools, and you can use your room towel at the value resort pools.

I would however also pack anything else I might need for the first 3-4 hours at the resort.  ME will deliver your luggage to your room, but it can take up to three hours after you arrive at the resort (and in some rare cases it takes longer).

Of course you should keep your valuables, medicines, prescriptions, all travel documents and/or tickets in your carry on bags. Beyond that, what you pack depends greatly on what you plan to do for the first few hours.

If you are going to use the pool (and it sounds like that is your plan), I'd also bring in the carry on bag the swimsuits, a small amount of sunblock (up to 3.3 oz containers allowed in carry on bags for most airlines), some sandals/flip-flops, hat, sunglasses, and anything else I might want at the pool. You could also buy the sunblock at the resort, but be aware that it will be more expensive than at home.

Personally, I'd also want to make sure I had my cameras easily available to catch photos/videos of the kids as they arrive and start enjoying their first few hours at WDW.

By the way, if you go to www.themouseforless.com and search for "packing" you will find a link to "The Ultimate Packing List" which includes some helpful ideas about what to bring in general to WDW, as well as what to take to the themeparks, waterparks, etc..

    Hope that helps.
