Is there any benefit of booking through a certified Disney travel agent (Small World Vacations) over directly through Disney directly? Their prices seem to be the same.

    Lauren,

There are a lot of benefits to booking through a certified Disney travel agent. You do want to be sure to use one that is a no-fee agency, which it sounds like you have found. But what are the benefits?

First off, you are not paying an added cost. So you don't have to worry about getting gouged by some third party group.

You also have someone that will find all the best discounts for you. If you think you can find them all on your own, I would tell you that you are wrong. I consider myself a bit of a Disney expert, and I use an agent. I think that proves my point. But more to that point, what if a new discount comes out AFTER you have booked? They will not only know about it (who knows if you will have heard about it or not), but they can also figure out if it can be used for your trip, and if it will save you money.

They can also book your Advanced Dining Reservations for you, which can be a real headache saver.

Other benefits can vary, but it is just great having someone in your corner.

BOTTOM LINE: I strongly recommend using a Disney authorized travel planner!

    Have a magical vacation!
