Hey there, Kathleen! I am so glad you came to planDisney to ask your question about your vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Last month, my family and I arrived super early in the morning to our Walt Disney World Resort. We had planned to have breakfast and then drive over to drop off our bags with Bell Services. When we got to the resort, I went in to let them know we were actually ON the property, just in case we could get into our room early. We did wind up getting into our room around 2pm, which was a nice surprise.

You can absolutely head over to visit a theme park for the day once you have dropped off your luggage. Be sure to transfer anything out of your “park bag” that you won’t need for the day. You can also do this in reverse on your final day if you have a later flight.
