Will bell service transfer luggage from Dolphin to Boardwalk Villas?

    Ryan,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

A few weeks ago I was asked a similar question, so I contacted the Bell Services desk at both the Walt Disney World Swan and the Walt Disney World Dolphin myself. They confirmed that if you take your bags to their Bell Services desk, they can transfer them to a Disney resort hotel, like Disney's BoardWalk Villas

You do need to have your bags down to the Bell Services desk by 11 am so that they can make the appropriate plans. Of course, your bags won't just appear at your new home instantly, but you should see them there later that day. Even though the distance between the two is just a short stroll, they do have a lot of guests to attend to. If an afternoon swim is in your plans, you may want to check a small bag with your gear separately at one of the two hotels, just in case.

On a personal note, I love the two locations you are considering. I am not just a huge fan of the Disney Skyliner but also enjoy the boat rides from the Dolphin and BoardWalk to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

    BONUS TIP
When it comes to bag transfers, I always like to let the Bell Services desk know about the move a day or two in advance. They will appreciate it, and it will streamline getting your bags from Point A to Point B.

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
