    We are in the beginning stages of planning a vacation to WDW fro 2009. Party of 5, teenage son 16, another son 9 and a daughter 4. Is there a grocery store somewhere that you can buy water and snacks to carry with you and have at the hotel.

    You can get water and snacks and other convenience items at any of the resorts.  They will all have a area stocked with these types of essentials.  If you do want to venture to a supermarket, there is a Winn-Dixie and a Publix a short distance away from the resort area, and shouldn't take more than an hour out of your vacation to do a grocery run.  You might also look into one of the local grocery delivery services, such as Garden Grocer or We Go Shop.  Another option is to have groceries shipped to the resort.  Amazon usually offers free delivery on a grocery order of $25 or more.
