In the beginning process of planning a trip for 3 weeks in Feb 2020. What is the weather like in Orlando and do we include the Disney water parks?

Hello Lisa! Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm really excited that you're planning a visit here in the wintertime.  I'm a near-native of Central Florida and I've got to tell you, our weather is crazy.  For example, it's the first week of January right now and our high was 80 degrees today-quite unseasonably warm.  We never know what we're going to get at any given time of the year, so be sure to monitor the temperatures as you're packing for your vacation.

I can't quite tell from the information that you've submitted if you're from the US or Canada, but I'm going to assume that you're a Canadian resident.  Please note that these offers are valid as of the writing of this answer; offers for the year 2020 have not been released yet and I wouldn't anticipate their release until later in 2019.  There are some special ticket offers for Canadian residents; however, please note that they must be purchased online and must be activated upon arrival with Canadian identification such as a passport.  Should you want to include water parks with these tickets, they must be upgraded when purchased; upgrades are not available after you arrive.

All that said, should you decide to pack your swimwear and take a chance, please know that the pools in both Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park are heated for your enjoyment, so dive right in!

Please come visit us again with any other questions.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Florida

I’ve grown up in Central Florida and have been visiting Disney Parks for over 30 years. Now that I’m a mom myself of a blended family with four kids, I love sharing Disney’s year-round special events with my family. Some of our favorite events are the Flower and Garden Festival, Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Let me help you plan something extraordinary for your next Disney Parks vacation! Learn More About Amy
