Beginning planning a trip to disney world and we are considering staying off the resort for accommodations, but not sure how transportation would work. Would we just pay for parking everyday and drive to each of the parks? Or is there a better way?

Hi, Kelley!  If you stay at a resort off of Walt Disney World property, you will pay a daily parking fee at the theme parks.  If you opt to do some park hopping, you'll only have to pay the fee once per day, so you could go from one theme park to another in the same day without having to repay the parking fee.  You could also use Walt Disney World transportation once you park, so you can go between parks and resorts without having to move your car.

Once you've chosen your off property resort, you may want to inquire about shuttle service.  Many resorts close to Walt Disney World offer shuttles to the theme parks.  There may be a fee for the shuttle, but some resorts include it in the price of your room.  You'll also want to ask about schedules, as some resorts have limited shuttle drop off and pick up times.

I hope this helps with your planning!
