Hi...We are beginning to plan our first trip Disney and were wondering which was a better time to go...Mid march or the mid to end of April, after Easter? We have 3 young children and would also like to avoid the high school trip season as well. Thanks!!

Hi Angela! How exciting to be planning your first vacation to Walt Disney World! For spring trips, my family always likes to visit in late April or early May. The college Spring Break season usually starts in mid-March and school Easter vacations usually happen in early to mid-April, which makes mid-March to mid-April a very popular time to visit Disney World. Park attendance is generally at peak levels during those weeks, which can mean longer lines. Once Easter has passed, the crowd levels in the parks tend to drop dramatically. Next year, Easter is on April 8, so any time after April 15th should be a very pleasant time to visit Disney World. Attendance in the parks should be at fairly low levels, the weather is usually very comfortable, and the beautiful International Flower and Garden Festival should be in full bloom at Epcot. It's a perfect time for a first trip to Disney!
