Is the beginning of June too hot, or is still early enough in the summer where it won't be so bad.

    Hey there Bernadette!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  I think you are very wise to consider the weather when planning a Walt Disney World vacation.  As Georgia residents, we traditionally take several trips each year to the Most Magical Place on Earth. We really enjoy visiting in late May/early June, right when school is dismissed for the summer. Although it can be quite warm in early June, I have always found it to be less humid than visits in July, August or September.  The average high temperature in June is in the low 90s with an average low temperature in the low 70s.

Our strategy in early June is to arrive at park opening when the temperature is much cooler and return to our Disney Resort hotel for a midday nap or swim. We then return to the parks in the early evening to experience all of the nighttime activities. I also recommend wearing lightweight clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen and to drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.

Based on my own personal experience, I do think a Walt Disney World vacation in early June can still be magical with a little extra planning. I hope this information helps in making your decision. Please don't hesitate to write me back if you have any additional questions that I can assist you with. Best wishes for a magical trip, Bernadette!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
