Where do I begin when planning my families Disney vacation for early 2024? We are a family of 3, 2 adults and 1 infant.

    Hiya, Holly! Welcome to planDisney!

Like Moana, there's just something exciting about looking towards something on the horizon – especially if you're looking towards a magical trip to Walt Disney World Resort! To me, planning for a vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth is almost as much fun as being on vacation. I'd love to help you and your family with the planning process!

Holly, I know your family's looking to travel to Walt Disney World Resort in early 2024. Unfortunately, vacation packages for next year aren't yet available at the time of this writing. While we don't know an exact date these reservations will open up, they're typically released in late spring or early summer. I'd recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, which always seems to share exciting news and announcements first!

But Hakuna Matata! No worries! There's still planning you can do before vacation packages for 2024 open up. First, take a look at the Disney Resorts Collection hotels available. Take a little time to decide which one you'd like to call "home" during your magical trip! They're all wonderfully themed and you'll be able to take advantage of many of the resort benefits during your stay, as well. This way, you'll be ready to go once vacation packages open up! You may also want to think about what type of tickets you want for your trip – for example, you may choose to upgrade to the Park Hopper Option to enjoy multiple parks in one day.

As you continue your planning process, please write to us again! You could ask for our opinions on which Disney Resorts Collection hotel is our personal favorite, ideas for traveling with little ones, or which dining locations are not-to-be-missed. You can also tune into the planDisney Podcast, where panelists share their best tips and advice for Disney destinations!
