Do any 2 bedroom villas have separate air conditioning controls for each bedroom, or is there only one for the whole unit?

Hi there, Allison! My family of five stayed in a 2 Bedroom Villa this summer at the Copper Creek Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Our villa was a spacious and idyllic retreat, and at times I felt myself wanting to stay in and enjoy it, rather than rush out to the theme parks. I think the Deluxe Villas are Walt Disney World Resort's best-kept secret, and I bet you'll agree!

I spoke with Guest Services today who put me in touch with a Cast Member who is a maintenance engineer at the Resort hotels. According to him, the 2-Bedroom Lock-Off Villas have two separate air conditioning controls, because they're technically separate rooms (A lock-off villa combines a one-bedroom and a studio to give you a two-bedroom villa). A dedicated 2-Bedroom Villa will have one shared air conditioning panel for the entire unit. If having separate controls is important to you, definitely mention that you'd like a Lock-Off Villa when booking and have it noted on your Resort reservation. If you are a Disney Vacation Club Member, the number to call is (800) 800-9800. If you are a non-member booking directly through Disney, call their main reservations line at (407) 939-1936.

I hope this helps, Allison! I know you're going to have a fantastic time staying in the middle of the magic. See ya' real soon!
