Welcome to planDisney, Deborah!
I am so excited to give you all the details about how you can become a
Disney Vacation Club Member! We became Disney Vacation Club Members 10 years ago, and it was the best decision we've ever made. Let's chat about all things Disney Vacation Club (also known as DVC).
In order to become a Disney Vacation Club Member, you would need to purchase real estate interest in a
DVC Home Resort. This real estate interest is represented by
Vacation Points, and you decide how many Vacation Points work best for your family. Disney Vacation Club is essentially a flexible timeshare that allows Members to book various accommodation sizes at 16 different Resorts around the country. For example, our Home Resort is
Disney's BoardWalk Villas. When we travel with just our family, we like to book a
Deluxe Studio. However, we recently invited multiple families to travel with us, and we reserved two 2-Bedroom Villas at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. We have also used our Membership to travel across an ocean to
Aulani- A Disney Resort & Spa. You can book your trips for only a night or stay for over a week, depending on how many Vacation Points you wish to use. The combinations are endless! DVC Members also have the option to utilize their Membership at locations around the world with
Interval International. DVC Members also have access to exclusive
perks and benefits, including discounts and special events just for Members. If you want to learn more about becoming a DVC Member, I would suggest
scheduling a time with a DVC Cast Member, either in person or virtually, to discuss your options. Additionally, you can request a
Key to the Magic, which will give you access to special videos giving more details about Resorts and Membership options. I hope that gives you a bit more information on becoming a DVC Member!
Thank you for visiting planDisney. We are here to answer all your Disney Vacation Club questions!
Enjoy making magical memories!
