I became an annual passholder for the 1st time recently. I am trying to plan a trip with my family who are not APs. Is it possible to get 2 separate rooms with an AP discount, or does the discount only apply to the room I'm in?

Hey, Kim! I am so happy to extend you a great big welcome to the Annual Passholder family! Becoming a member really is a magical decision, especially thanks to all of those wonderful discounts we are granted. It looks like you are already planning to put that Disney Resort Hotel room discount to good use. As I am sure you will be back to experience many more pixie-dusted moments this year, be sure to log in to your My Disney Experience account so that you can peruse the Annual Passholder exclusive room discounts to find the best deal on your room for each trip.

When you are ready to book your stay, you will be able to reserve up to three rooms at the Annual Passholder discounted rate. So you should be fine with your plan to book two rooms and there are no worries about having to list yourself as a guest in each room. If your family members need Disney Theme Park Tickets or would like to add on one of the Disney Dining Plans, those can all be added when booking the rooms.

Have you taken a look at all of the discounts available to you yet? You may want to bookmark the Passholder Discounts and Passholder Extras pages so that you can refer to them often this year. Note that since you will be the only Passholder in your group, you will need to be present and show your ID to utilize the many merchandise, tour, ticket, and dining discounts.

Thanks so much for bringing your question to us and please let us know if you have any others as you plan your magical Passholder year!
