Can Bear in the Big Blue House still be found as either characters or in events at any of the Disney properties? Thanks!

    Sally,

Thanks so much for your question!

My girls were both fans of the Bear in the Big Blue House, and on our first couple of visits to Walt Disney World his show was a Must Do! stop for us. His house was located in what is now the Disney Junior Dance Party! in Disney's Hollywood Studios. It was a great show, one where you could sit on the ground with your kids just a few yards away from Bear, Tutter, Pip & Pop, and so many of his other friends.

Unfortunately the Bear is no longer visiting Walt Disney World. But that does not mean that you cannot find other fun. The Dance Party is a fun event, so consider that. I also find the performance at the nearby Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage show great, not only for the show but also to get my kids some time sitting down, recharging their batteries, and getting out of the midday sun. Another great up close and personal experience that is both a show and a character greeting opportunity is the Enchanted Tales with Belle over at the Magic Kingdom. It is great for boys and girls, as well as adults, since many get to play a part in the show.

Sorry that the Bear won't be in town, but write me back with more questions and I am sure we can find other attractions that will help you make new memories.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
