At Beaches and Cream, can you pay for the "Kitchen Sink" using the dining plan? Say a table service credit or multiple snack credits?

    Hi Kelly!

Welcome back!  It's so much fun to help a returning Guest to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  It's even more fun to answer a question about what I scream, you scream and we all scream for....ice cream.   For any ice cream lover the Kitchen Sink Sundae at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop is the ultimate indulgence.  With 8 scoops of ice cream and every topping imaginable, it is sure to satisfy every sweet tooth in your party.

You can use your credits from one of the Disney Dining Plans for a meal at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop.  They have an amazing grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup.    With a meal you would get one drink, one entree and one dessert.   Unfortunately, the Kitchen Sink Sundae does not count as a dessert because of its enormous size.  You could get an ice cream cone, shake or float with your dessert credit.   That being said I really do think the Kitchen Sink is worth ordering, even if you don't eat a meal this is a great dessert to share.  I do highly recommend an Advanced Dining Reservation as this sweet dining spot does fill up quickly.

I hope this has helped.  Please enjoy your ice-cream and think of me as you eat.   I will be at the Resort in just a few weeks and I am sure my crew will make our way over to tackle a Kitchen Sink Sundae as well.
