Hi Erin, and welcome to planDisney! I love visiting the different
Disney Resort hotels since they each have their own unique theming.
Wilderness Lodge is one of my favorites with its relaxing Pacific Northwest vibes!
While there isn’t direct transportation between most Disney Resort hotels (some exceptions include the bus that connects Wilderness Lodge and
Fort Wilderness, and the boat that stops at
Port Orleans Resort - Riverside,
Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, and
Disney Springs), you do have a few different options for getting to Wilderness Lodge from
Beach Club and
Saratoga Springs Resort!
The fastest and most direct way would be to use
Minnie Van Service or another ride-share service between the resort hotels. But you can also use
complimentary Disney transportation by traveling to a theme park and then to Wilderness Lodge.
From Beach Club, you can take the
FriendShip Boat to Hollywood Studios and then board a
bus to Wilderness Lodge. Other options for getting to Hollywood Studios include walking (which is just over a mile walk from Beach Club) or riding the
Skyliner. In my experience, the Skyliner usually takes longer than the FriendShip Boat since you need to transfer at the
Caribbean Beach Skyliner station. But it’s always fun to see Disney World from a bird’s eye view!
From Saratoga Springs, you’ll need to head to the bus stop and get on the first bus going to a theme park, and then take a bus to Wilderness Lodge. If you end up at Magic Kingdom, you can opt for a relaxing water
taxi ride to Wilderness Lodge. It’s fun to see Cinderella’s Castle in the distance as you sail away!
I just love Wilderness Lodge’s majestic lobby and cozy fireplace. It’s also home to one of my favorite hidden gems. If you walk over to the
Boulder Ridge Villas building, you’ll find the
Carolwood Pacific Room to your right when you walk inside. This space is dedicated to Walt Disney’s love of trains, and you’ll even find original cars from his backyard miniature railway!
I’m wishing you the most magical visit to Disney World! And if you have any other questions, we’d love to have you back at planDisney.
