Is the Beach Club the closest resort to Epcot? Can you walk from Beach Club to the Epcot back gate? If so, how far is the walk? Trying to find the best resort for my parents (in their 70s) who can't walk long distances but won't use a wheelchair. Help!

    Hi there Emily!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's BoardWalk Inn are the closest Disney Resort hotels to Epcot. You can easily walk to the International Gateway entrance at Epcot from Disney's Beach Club Resort.  Although the time may vary depending on their pace, I have personally found the walk from Disney's Beach Club Resort to Epcot to take approximately 5-10 minutes. I definitely think you will find Disney's Beach Club Resort to be a great resort location if your parents will be spending a great deal of time at Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Ferryboat service is also available between Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and the Epcot area resorts.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip, Emily!
