Bright Suns, Amie! I'm so glad you've brought your question to us, because you have truly found your fellow Jedi here at planDisney. The Force is strong with you!
It looks like you will be landing in a galaxy far, far away in less than two weeks! When you arrive on Batuu in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, you'll be able to explore everything that Black Spire Outpost has to offer. It will be important that you refuel after your long journey, so be sure to check out
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo for some galactic delicacies. My husband and I particularly love the Felucian Kefta and Hummus Garden Spread - trust me on this one! When you're starting to get hungry, be sure to place a
Mobile Order on your
My Disney Experience App. It's easier than a Jedi mind trick!
Amie, as an important part of the Resistance, you'll need to blend in with your surroundings - that includes following the local customs of the residents on Batuu. I'm glad to hear that you're looking to use their form of currency, which is the Batuuan Spira Credit Medallion (also known as a gift card)! Upon my most recent findings, it looks as though you are able to still purchase the Batuuan Spira Credit Medallion, specifically at the
Droid Depot. Be sure to ask other merchandise locations as well, and try to check first thing in the morning when merchandise is most readily replenished. However, these medallions are very popular, and they sometimes become out of stock. When this happens, it's clear that the First Order has been involved.
But fear not! In the event that you aren't able to get your hands on a Batuuan Spira Credit Medallion, there are still many options for souvenirs that would make any Jawa chatter with glee. You should be able to find pins and keychains in similar color and style as the medallions, furry critters from the Creature Stall, handcrafted objects from the Toydarian Toymaker, and even mugs that look like they've been created and carved out of clay (my personal favorite treasure!). After you've found the cargo you're looking for, you'll want to stop by the
Milk Stand for a refreshing blue or green milk. I'd love to know which one is your favorite, as this is a question that's divided the citizens of Batuu for years!
Amie, I hope this answer was helpful. Please reach out to us any time you have a question, and may the Force be with you!
Til the Spires!
