On basic dining plan but want to eat at 2 signature restaurants. Do you recommend paying out of pocket for 1 signature meal and transferring those credits to the second signature dining meal? Or, is it more economical to pay for 2 low cost table service?

    Hi Carrie,

I would look at two things: the cost of the meals as well as how much food you can eat.

On the Disney Dining Plan, table service offers you an appetizer, main course, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. If you can eat all that food (I can not), then pay for the lower cost table service meals and use the credit for the signature restaurants.

If you can not, then look at the price of the meals for both the signature and non-signature meals and see which meal would cost more. This is the one to use the credits for. If they are close, use it on the non-signature meals as it would mean less out of pocket (two non-signature vs one signature). Allearsnet.com has a great list of meal prices so you can get an idea of how much a meal will cost you.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
