Hi Mark! A January visit to Mickey and Minnie’s Florida home sounds great! I can’t think of a better way to spend the new year than to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort in Florida!
It sounds like you’ve already got your Disney Parks tickets! That’s great! You’ll be happy to know that your
admission tickets allow you to enter a theme park, leave the park, and then re-enter the same park. The strategy that you’re planning is one that my family has used during just about every visit! We like to begin our Disney Days early and end them late. That requires a nice long break in the middle of the day. We arrive at the park just before park opening. We then spend the morning hours getting in as many rides as we can. Then we head back to our resort hotel for lunch, a swim, and then a nap. We’ll then head back to the same park and remain until closing time! We’ll do more rides and even repeat a few of our favorites from earlier in the day!
Mark, I should share that there are instances when a park might reach capacity and Guests who try to re-enter a park might not be allowed to do so. However, that is very rare. It occurs during extremely busy times in the Disney Parks. The time I’ve seen this happen most is between Christmas and New Year's Eve. While anything is possible, I certainly wouldn’t be concerned about it for a late January visit. That isn’t usually a busy time to visit.
