Hi Lester!
Welcome to
planDisney, a group of the rootinest tootinest Disney vacation enthusiasts you will ever meet this side of
Walt Disney World! It would be my pleasure to help lasso an answer about using your 2021 Disney Vacation Club
Vacation Points before they expire.
I love the flexibility of the
Disney Vacation Club Membership and the ability to
bank and borrow Vacation Points to maximize my vacations. You can find more information about banking and borrowing Vacation Points on the
Making the Most of Vacation Points page. When you
bank your Vacation Points into the next Use Year, travel on reservations made with banked Vacation Points must be completed by the end of the Use Year they were banked into, or they will expire. You would be unable to use those banked Vacation Points from 2020 for a September vacation as the banked Vacation Points will expire if not used (and travel completed) before August 1, 2021.
You may want to consider transferring your banked Vacation Points into
RCI exchange to extend the amount of time you have to use the points for a vacation. Please note that all RCI exchanges are final and can only be used for booking RCI exchange accommodations. If you need further assistance with your Disney Vacation Club Membership or more guidance on how to best use your Vacation Points, you can reach out to
Member Services at (800) 800-9800.
I hope this information helps you use your banked Vacation Points so that you can make the most out of your Disney Vacation Club Membership! Please remember that you’ve got a friend in us here at
planDisney, so stop back by any time we can round up some answers to your vacation questions.
