Hello, I banked my 2020 points (120) due to COVID closures. My 2020 point are due to expire on June 2021. Is there any way I can extend my 2020 points?

Welcome to planDisney, Sandra! Thanks for stopping by with your question about your Disney Vacation Club Vacation Points. I love the flexibility of my Disney Vacation Club Membership and the ability to bank and borrow Vacation Points. I know this past year has been quite different, requiring many of us Disney Vacation Club Members to alter and cancel our previous vacation plans.

I also have a June Use Year and had to bank my 2020 Vacation Points into 2021. Meaning I banked my Vacation Points that I received in June 2020 into my 2021 Use Year, making them eligible for use after June 2021 and expire May 31, 2022. If you banked your 2020 Vacation Points into your 2021 Use Year, they should not expire until May 31, 2022.

If it was 2019 Use Year Points that you banked into your 2020 Use Year, these points will expire on May 31, 2021. I highly recommend that you contact Member Services by calling (800) 800-9800, to discuss options if it was 2019 Use Year Vacation Points that were banked. You can find more information about banking Vacation Points on the Banking Rules 101 page.

I hope this information helps you make the most of your Disney Vacation Club Membership and Vacation Points.
