If I bank my 2023 points when do I need to book my vacation. In order for them not to expire?

Welcome to planDisney, Ashley, and Welcome Home!

Flexibility is my favorite feature of Disney Vacation Club Membership. Over the past decade, as DVC Members, we have both banked and borrowed Vacation Points depending on our family needs for that year. Let's take a look at banking your Points!

If you are interested in banking Points, I advise starting at the Vacation Points Overview page. This will give you a quick snapshot of exactly how many Vacation Points you have available to bank. If you are interested in banking 2023 Points then those Points would become 2024 Points. There are some rules associated with banking though. Vacation Points must be banked up to four months before the end of your Use Year and all banking transactions are final. The expiration date of your banked Points will depend on your specific Use Year. For example, if you have a February Use Year then the 2024 Points would expire by January 31st, 2025. Keep in mind that travel using these Points must be completed by the expiration date, not just booked. Since I can't see the exact specifics of your Points, I recommend calling DVC Member Services to review the options for your Vacation Points.

Thank you for visiting planDisney. We are here for all your Disney Vacation Club questions.

    Enjoy making magical memories!
