Hi Ben,
I'm so sorry to hear that your magical vacation needed to be cancelled! I hope that you and your wife will be able to make it to the Walt Disney World Resort another time sometime soon!
That's so kind of you to want to share your
MagicBands with other Mouseketeers. As long as your MagicBands have never been linked to your My Disney Experience account, they'll still work like new and may be transferred to someone else. If, however, you received them as part of a
Disney Resort hotel reservation, they're already linked to your account and
they may not be transferred to anyone else, even if you were not able to use them. If you'd like to see if they are linked to your account or not, I'd suggest
viewing all of the cards and MagicBands that are linked to your account to see if those particular MagicBands are there. You'll notice that you have the ability to switch each MagicBand from "Active" to "Inactive,"however, even if you change your MagicBands to "Inactive," they still may not be transferred. On the bright side, the batteries in them are estimated to work for several years, though, so don't get rid of them.
You may still use them on a future trip!
Thanks so much for visiting us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ben, and please feel free to stop by again with any other questions!
Missy
