Bahamas vs. the Caribbean? Or shall I say, Wonder vs. the Fantasy... Have any of you been to both and can tell me which one you liked most and why? This will be our first cruise and I can't seem to decide between the two. Thnx!

    Ahoy Sarah!
Welcome to the Moms Panel!  You have a great question, and I'll do my best to provide you some helpful information to assist you with your decision!  Each ship has a classic feel with elegant decor and a touch of Disney inspired whimsy!  The Disney Wonder and Magic are smaller vessels (80,000 gross tons) while the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy weigh in at 130,000 gross tons!  You will definitely get a few more steps in when you cruise on the newer ships!  With that being said, you will have an unforgettable cruise experience on either the Disney Wonder or the Disney Fantasy!  They are both floating destinations with plenty to offer Guests of all ages!  If I were you, I would think about price, itinerary, sail date, and length of cruise when making your choice.  I always long for more days onboard when it is time to say "See Ya Real Soon!"  I also would look at the Port Adventures that are being offered on each sailing.  If one cruise is less expensive, it may give you more room in your budget to enjoy excursions in the various ports of call.
If you haven't already, I recommend spending some time exploring each ship on the Disney Cruise Line website.  This is a great way to get a feel for each vessel.  Be sure to check out the youth programming, entertainment, onboard amenities, accommodations and dining options for each.
I know it is a tough decision, but the phenomenal service available to Guests is fleet wide!  No matter which vessel you choose you will be spoiled and pampered by the crew!  This is why my family continues to choose Disney Cruise Line for our yearly vacations!
I hope I was of some help, Sarah.  Please let me know if I can assist you further!
    Good Luck!
