Welcome back to the Moms Panel, Rosa!
April is a beautiful time to set sail for a Bahamian voyage on the spectacular Disney Dream! The highs will be in the low 80s and the lows will be around 65 so you can expect very pleasant temperatures.
My first piece of advice is to read your daily cruise newsletter, The Personal Navigator each day and keep it handy because it will be your "go to" guide throughout your sailing! I carry my copy around with me!
Two of my favorite activities on the Dream are the AquaDuck, the only water coaster at sea and the Midship Detective Agency, an interactive mystery game. I recommend both of these exciting Disney Cruise Line exclusives for Guests of all ages!
If your kids are between the ages of 3-17, be sure to take advantage of the wonderful youth facilities on board the ship! The spaces are innovative, imaginative, and interactive so if your kids are anything like mine, they won't want to leave! While the kids are off having the time of their lives, you will want to explore the adult-only areas of ship and enjoy the adult-only activities! The Quiet Cove Pool area including the Quiet Cove Cafe is just lovely as well as the Rainforest Room in the Senses Spa! For less than $20 you can enjoy this relaxing thermal suite including the heated tile loungers and stunning ocean views!
There is so much more to experience on this amazing vessel so have a look at the
Disney Dream videos on the
Disney Cruise website and familiarize yourself with as much as you can before it is your turn!
Please write back with more questions, Rosa! I'm always happy to help!
Have a magical day!
Nancy
