how many bags can you bring onboard the ship

Welcome back, Cayle! It's a good idea to start planning all of the packing details for your big trip! It's always exciting to set sail with Disney Cruise Line, but you've got even more fun with such a big adventure flying from Canada to Europe where you'll get to set sail on the Mediterranean with Disney!

Disney Cruise Line allows guests to check in two pieces of luggage, and to carry on an additional day bag. The carry-on bag must be no larger than 22"x14"x9", similar to airline carry-ons, as it will need to fit through a security check on your way into the port terminal. As you pack, keep in mind that the less bags the better, because you'll need to store them in your stateroom. While there is plenty of under the bed space and closet space for a few bags, I wouldn't bring eight pieces of large luggage for my family of four, as we'd have a hard time fitting it all. Check out the packing tips on Disney Cruise Line's website to help you get started!

The Disney Magic offers a few different guest laundry facilities throughout the ship, so you may want to take advantage of those and throw in a load or two of laundry halfway through your cruise to save luggage space. Laundry detergent is available to purchase per load in the laundry room, but we like to pack a few small travel size detergent packs of our own.

I hope those details help as you continue planning your cruise, Cayle! Have a wonderful adventure!
