Can you take a bag on most rides (kids 5 and 8) or will I have to leave it in my stroller? Do you recommend getting a locker for a bag (sunscreen, hats, water, camera etc.) If I can take one on what type of bag would you suggest? Trying to downsize.

There are lockers available to rent at the entrances to all of Disney's theme parks. However, going back and forth to the locker all day could become very time consuming. Instead can just bring your bag with you on all Disney World attractions.

I ALWAYS have a medium-sized backpack with me at WDW which holds my wallet, camera, water bottle, sunscreen, etc. You can bring a backpack, purse, sling bag, or diaper bag with you on every ride at WDW. Personally, I like a backpack-style bag because it allows both my hands to be free to hold onto my children. If you have a lot of non-valuable items like snacks or a simple change of clothes, you could leave them in the stroller, but be sure to take any items like camera or wallets with you on the rides.

The way you'll deal with your bag varies a bit from ride to ride. Here are some examples:

    - Wear the bag or keep the bag on the seat next to you or on the floor in front of you: Haunted Mansion, Toy Story Mania, Buzz Lightyear, the vast majority of others.

    - Use a dedicated bin in your ride vehicle for personal effects: Soarin', Mission Space, Kali River Rapids.

    - Put the bag on the floor in front of you with a foot through the straps: Expedition Everest, Rock 'n Roller Coaster, Space Mountain.

In each of these situations, my pack and its contents have been 100% fine.

Have a great visit to WDW!
