I get bad motion sickness with the moving screens on rides. Should I try the flight of passage ride or skip it? I want to go so bad but I don’t need to be sick for 2 days.

    Dear Sarah,

Thank you so much for visiting us again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Avatar Flight of Passage is an absolutely amazing attraction, and I highly recommend it. However, it does involve viewing a screen that simulates movement through the Valley of Mo'ara. If you are particularly motion-sensitive, it might not be the ideal attraction for you. It would be a shame to miss a bunch of other attractions because of getting sick on one.

Some people feel sitting closer to the center of the row on the attraction helps with motion sickness, so if you really do want to attempt to ride it, I recommend attempting to sit towards the middle. A Cast Member can assist you with selecting the better seats.

Hope that you have no issues and that you have a magical vacation!
