What do you do with your backpacks when riding the roller coasters?

You just bring your backpacks on the ride with you. Many of the thrill rides have pouches inside the ride vehicles that are meant to be safe holding places for your belongings. I think these work well if you just have a few random things that you want to keep secure, like a hat or glasses. I have found that they are not quite big enough for a backpack. So, what I do is put the backpack on the floor of the ride vehicle and put my feet through the straps. This has always been perfectly sufficient for securing the pack for me and it is what I've seen many, many other people do.

If for some reason you didn't want to bring your pack with you, there are lockers that are available for rental at the entrance to each of the parks.
