If we have a backpack, is there a place for it while we are riding the ride? Some local parks here in VA provide you a cubby. Also, I read something about a fireworks cruise in another post, what/where is this and does it cost $?

Hi, Stephanie!  As the over-packing mom to three daughters, I usually have a pretty good sized backpack with me whenever we go to Walt Disney World, and while there are not individual cubbies to keep the bag in while you are on a ride, I've never had to worry about storage.

Many of the rides and attractions will allow you to just put your bag on the floor of the ride by your feet.  If for safety reasons, and due to the movement of the ride, you cannot put your bag on the floor, there are usually either mesh storage compartments in front of you or a basket underneath your seat - somewhere secure that you can place your backpack for the duration of the ride.  On something like Kali River Rapids, you will have storage in the center of the "raft" with a waterproof cover to keep your stuff dry.

There are several options available in terms of the fireworks cruises at Walt Disney World, and  they are all absolutely magical!  The prices for the cruises start at $266 for a pontoon boat that will allow up to eight people to enjoy Wishes with a private driver, drinks and snacks.  You can share the boat with another family or friends, but there is an eight person minimum for this basic package.  The prices go up from there, and you can add private dining to your trip at an additional expense.  You can get more information about these wonderful cruises by heading HERE
