    We are going back to WDW next spring. We stayed at the Beach club resort last year and loved it. We want to try somewhere different. Can you recommend resorts with one bedroom villas with great pool complexes and a poolside restaurant?

    Hi Faith,

    The Disney resorts with villas are: Beach Club, Boardwalk, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, and Bay Lake Tower. I've stayed at all of them, most several times.

    in my opinion, the Beach Club has by far the best pool. The only thing that comes close is the water play area at the Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village Location. However, the poolside food options are not as good as the BC and the AKL is much less centrally located. 

    The Wilderness Lodge might be a good option for you. The resort's main counter service restaurant is quite near the pool and the pool itself is lovely. The WL is my favorite resort theming. I also like Bay Lake for the great Magic Kingdom area location.
