Hi! I am just back from a trip with my husband & 2 boys for 1 week at Beach Club. FUN! Now thinking of returning in the Spring just me & my 3yo daughter(her 1st vsit). Would like to stay at Grand Floridian. Can you explain/recommend room? Other

Hi Amy! I love the idea of a girls' trip to the Grand Floridian! (And I love that you're just back from one trip and already planning another; you're just like the Moms on the Panel!)

If you liked the Beach Club, I know you'll love the Grand Floridian! (In my opinion, the theming at both resorts is somewhat similar, and on trips when my budget doesn't allow for the Grand Floridian, I've found the Beach Club is a great less-expensive substitute.) The Grand Floridian is a luxurious, but not stuffy, resort, and you and your daughter will love the fun Beach Pool, the beautiful, roomy accommodations,  and the the convenient quick monorail access to the Magic Kingdom.

For a truly magical experience, request a room with a view of Cinderella's Castle. I've stayed in lagoon-view rooms in the Boca Chica and Big Pine Key buildings and found it hard to tear myself away from the beautiful views from the balconies. Both of these buildings are fairly close to the pools and the main building, and you and your daughter would enjoy watching the nightly Electric Water Pageant from your room.  Of course, if you want the ultimate in luxury and convenience, book a club-level room in the Main Building. In addition to being close to the monorail, you'll receive assistance with trip planning and extensive food and beverage offerings throughout the day, which can be helpful when traveling with a little one.

Hope this helps! Thanks for asking me your question. Please come visit me again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! Have a magical vacation!
