Ahoy there, Katherine! Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your question, and welcome back from your third Disney Cruise! I’m so glad you reached out, and I’d be happy to help.
Each time you return on board, you should receive a Welcome Back Aboard gift, which typically includes a lanyard and a small Castaway Club keepsake. These gifts are distributed to the staterooms while you’re on the ship, and I’m so sorry to hear that you didn’t receive yours this time. The gifts are part of the Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club program, and they aren’t limited to just the first or second cruise, since they’re given based on your membership tier, which accrue with each sailing.
Since your third cruise makes you a Silver Castaway Club Member, you should have received the same welcome-back bag and lanyard that are typically given to Silver members. Since that didn’t happen, I’d suggest mentioning it to
Guest Services on your next sailing or
contacting Disney Cruise Line directly. Officially, these gifts are considered part of the onboard experience and aren’t mailed after disembarkation, but it never hurts to ask!
There are four
Castaway Club tiers (Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Pearl), and benefits vary slightly depending on your level. No matter your tier, you can always look forward to that little “welcome home” gift each time you board.
And since it sounds like another voyage might be on the horizon, here’s a little tip for next time: Before you disembark, you can make a
placeholder reservation right from the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. For a small deposit, you’ll secure a reservation number and enjoy a slight discount on a future sailing, even if you’re not yet sure when or where you want to cruise. You’ll just need to apply it to a sailing that begins within 24 months of purchase. It’s such a great way to save and look forward to another Disney Cruise on your calendar!
I hope this helps, Katherine, and I’m wishing you smooth sailing ahead on your next adventure!
Sea ya real soon,
Eean
