Can you get back in to the park if you want to smoke?

    Hi Sanne!

Thanks for visiting planDisney! I hope the New Year finds you well.

You are going to have a fantastic time experiencing all the wonder and magic that Disneyland and Disney California Adventure have to offer. With your valid theme park ticket and park reservation, you are able to enter and re-enter either park as many times as you would like throughout the day. Be sure to have your ticket handy to show upon re-entry as it will be required. To make this easier, you may want to download the Disneyland app and ensure your park ticket is linked. The cast member at the gate will then be able to scan your ticket via your mobile device, which will allow you a quick return to the fun.

However, as a reminder, smoking is not permitted in the theme parks, hotels, the Esplanade between the parks, or the Downtown Disney District. Should you decide to take a smoke break, you will need to do so off Disneyland Resort property. Once your break is complete, you will then be able to return to theme parks for the reminder of your visit.

If you are looking for other ways to rest and recharge during your theme park visit, I recommend visiting the lobby of the Grand Californian. The décor, based on the Arts and Crafts movement of the early 20th century, provides an excellent locale to take a break from the parks. The lobby often features a live piano player, filling the space with beautiful music based on Disney classics. In addition, you can also grab a seat in front of the fireplace and enjoy the relaxing ambiance. Finally, if you are hungry, you can visit the GCH Craftsman Grill for some delectable treats. I would recommend checking out the "hot dog of the month" for a unique offering!

Enjoy your next visit to the Disneyland Resort, Sanne. May it be a memorable one!

    Wishing you the best,

    David
